J. Cole and his better half’s love story started more than 20 years ago
There have been people who could not find his or her true love despite searching for it throughout their lives. But others found their soulmate in a brief period. Something similar happened with Cole also as he met his first love at an early age. The pair were studying together at the New York-based St. John’s University and they reportedly got engaged by 2020.
However, they did not make any official announcement of the same and glimpses of the same cannot be found anywhere. It must be noted that they tied the knot around 10 years after being with each other, proving that they never had to go through any trouble.
J. Cole and Melissa have done everything they can to save the relationship from the trouble of being disturbed by the spotlight. However, the former accidentally ended up revealing everything while speaking to director Ryan Coogler in 2016 and Cole never had a regret of the same.
Melissa Heholt has been involved with multiple organizations
Compared to her husband, Melissa is not associated with music. Although Heholt’s different approach to career makes her different from everyone, it must be noted that it is not something that needs to be ignored by anyone.
Melissa has been active as an entrepreneur for many years and started a company titled Statice Events. While speaking on the blog, Karla With A Kay, she stated that the company aims to offer client services and create “memorable events.” She added that the company plans everything in such a way that the clients never forget the things they have done for the future.
The company has not been working since 2023 and Melissa has not addressed the reason for the same. She went to reputed institutions such as Archbishop Molloy High School and St. John’s University to complete her education. She even serves as an executive director for her husband’s company, Dreamville Foundation.
J. Cole holds a record of being on top of the Billboard charts
There have been some unique artists whose projects never went down the charts and J. Cole is one of them. The 39-year-old has got a long list of albums and songs under his name and while the music of those projects has been praised, his voice has also been a subject of appreciation.
Despite starting his career more than 10 years ago, he released only six albums. His last project was titled The Off-Season and it managed to grab a few nominations for some of the songs. It additionally received positive feedback on the music streaming platforms.
